Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona, Brunello di Montalcino 2010 Sauvignon Blanc which wasn’t a bad thing94 CellarTracker This is an absolutely textbook example of a Brunello di Montalcino just coming into its drinking window. The body is medium and ample along with a firm consistency and solid structure. I get the black cherry, plum, blackberry, and tomato flavors. The tannins are integrating very well. This wine has another decade within its drinking window. We couldn't have picked a better wine tonight to go along with my self harvested bison burgers.
