The sword is all brass mounted with an interesting two part "D" hand guard with a very nice "closed mouth" eagle pommel. The two pearl panel grips have some cracks or chips but have been securely fixed some time ago. The eagle's head is very well executed, with a lovely, antiqued brass patina. The sword is 36. 50 inches long overall, with a straight 31. 50 inch
