Japanese Indigo Art Print ~Signed~ Daucus carota Liberty fruits have mottled deepAs a fourth generation Japanese American, Patricia Wakida has dedicated much of her career to researching and creating artwork that is reflective of her culture, history, and art. She drew and carved a linoleum block in the style of a Japanese family crest, a stylized symbol for lineage, bloodline, or ancestry. She printed it onto her own indigo dyed cotton panel (that she dipped numerous times to get the ombre effect), referencing traditional noren
