1921 Alabama Silver Commemorative Half Dollar - Brilliant Uncirculated Proof Silver Eagle two soldiersGrade: Brilliant Uncirculated Authorized for the statehood centennial in 1919, these coins were not struck until 1921. The obverse features the busts of William Wyatt Bibb and T. E. Kilby. Kilby's impression marked the first instance of a living person's portrait being minted on a U. S. coin. The reverse is dominated by an American Bald Eagle with raised wings. Mintage: 35,000.
