Large 19th Century Pinder, Bourne & Hope "Malva" Ironstone Platter blue suitcase 2") x 33cm length (12A rare and elegant ironstone platter from the esteemed Staffordshire pottery firm Pinder, Bourne & Hope, produced between 1851 and 1862. This plate features the Malva pattern, named after the mallow flower, with richly detailed botanical motifs in soft hues of iron red, olive green, and golden ochre, framed by an elaborate scroll and trellis border. The plate has natural crazing and light surface wear consistent with age, adding to its antique charm.
