Its shaped like a grape leaf bowl, with lovely detailed carving of a grape cluster at one end and a vine style handle. The bowl sits on a pedestal which houses the Swiss musical movement. The music box is in excellent working order, with a wind up key on the base. Can you imagine serving cheese or grapes on this at a dinner party! Black Forest carving dates back to the
