Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Em/Nco’s M40 Overseas Cap Newly Listed marked KREW C1 on reverse(Waffen SS Schiffchen M40). An extremely well preserved Waffen SS EM NCOs M40 overseas cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which gently sloped downward toward the front. The peak bears the unmistakable outline of an SS eagle insignia which has been carefully removed from the cap. Directly below the peak, the centre of the panels similarly demonstrates the outline of an SS style Totenkopf, also
