The frilly appearance of the bloom makes this Blue Deckle even more special. This variety is a bit more pH sensitive than the other serratas and will be pale pink to lavender in neutral soil and pale blue in acid soil. The lacecap blooms crowd the fertile florets as it nestles amongst light green leaves. Like the other serratas, this variety will have dramatic leaf color in the fall.
