Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, on top of a cloud from which a lightning bolt is emanating and striking the ground, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Karneth, Gablonz, measuring 43. 44
