This is a fantastic totally inert, wood and steel construction drill round for the USN 3 in. 50 calibers QF gun that weighs about 21lbs., and measures 32 1 2 in length. The round is in very good condition and is weighted to match a live shell for accurate training handling purposes. The base plate is is black painted steel, and while faint, the markings on the bottom can be read: 329486 B 6 BFT HMC 1944MK. 6 50 CAL
