This is an excellent example with a lovely metal shield attached to blue gray Luftwaffe (Air Force) wool cloth backing. The wool is in great shape, with just a bit of fading, and no mothing. This example appears to have never been fitted to a uniform, and still retains the original antiqued zinc finish, with wear to the metal or oxidation. The rear paper is missing, but there is adhesive residue present. Either this
