This is a very nice example of the German WWII Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge, made of the standard "Tombak" alloy used for many German WWII awards. The badge is in very good condition, with a functioning pin back, and still retains little of the original gold and silver wash on the wreath, eagle, and "splash" in the center. The front design consists of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle
