Saxony, Kingdom. An Albrecht Order In Gold, Officer’s Cross, C.1900 Buy Now maker marked “FRIEDR(Albrechts Orde, Offizierkreuz in Gold). Instituted on 31 December 1850 by King Friedrich August II. (1890 1918 issue). A superb example in 18 karat Gold with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms, with a central raised Gold profile of Duke Albert III, within a blue enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of ALBERTUS ANIMOSUS (ALBERT THE MERCIFUL) with arabesques, with a finely detailed green
