Steel construction with original inlaid copper shield depicting the Dutch Republic Lion or the Coat of Arms of Netherlands. Complete with leather liner, central drawstring and chinstrap. Overall condition is excellent, size is approximately 7 1 4 (58cm). The liner may possibly be a later replacement, however, we are not sure. It does appear to be period, however
