Alvarez, Albert - Signed Vintage Photograph 1905 recently_added English contralto and composer MarieFrench tenor (1861 1933), creator of the roles of Nicias and Araquil in Massenet's "Thas" and "La Navarraise" respectively. Fantastic black and white cabinet photograph by Benque (Paris) signed by the tenor, shown probably as Otello in Verdi's opera, dated 1905. Size is 4. 3 x 6. 5 inches, in excellent condition.
