This is a very interesting French "turnover" percussion pistol, with aspects of the 17th and 18th century style. It may have originally been much longer, but now the barrels are 9 1 2" in length. We also feel that originally it was almost certainly a flintlock example, but was converted to percussion in the 19th century, as countless flintlocks were.
