Calopogon Fluffy Actaea forming an 18" tall xCalopogon 'Fluffy', no relation to Fluffy Iglesias, is a 2003 Carson Whitlow hybrid seed strain of two native terrestrial orchid species Calopogon tuberosus, a widespread Eastern North America native, and the Southeastern US coastal native, Calopogon multiflorus. The 10" tall stalks are topped with a spike of lavender pink, upside down appearing flowers, starting in late April (NC). We grow Calopogon 'Fluffy' with pitcher plants in a sunny peat bog,
