Original WWI Prussian Infantry Officer Pickelhaube Helmet with Chin Scales Military Flare Guns History of the HOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent condition smart looking, officer pickelhaube from a Prussian Infanterie Regiment issued during World War One. A number of refinements took place over the ensuing fifty years after the pickelhaube's 1842 Prussian Army debut. The leather body's condition is very good. All of the helmet's furniture is highly detailed gilt brass. Its wappen (coat of arms) features a large eagle with the King's motto,
