Castagna, Bruna - Signed Photo in Carmen 1940 HM - Art most probably at the OldItalian contralto and mezzo soprano (1896 1983), sang in various important theaters such as La Scala di Milano between 1925 1934, Met Opera of New York 1936 1945 and Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires 1925 1942. Beautiful signed photo, shown as Bizet's Carmen, inscribed and dated in Rio de Janeiro in 1940. Stamped on verso by photographer J. Abresch, New York. Size is 8 x 10 inches, some bullet holes on top and bottom outside of the image and clear and bold
