Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Dagger, By Stöcker & Co. Hold a manufacture date of “1938”(Luftwaffe Offiziersdolch). A well preserved Luftwaffe Officers dagger, measuring 42. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 26. 5 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. The blade bears double sided, acid etched designs, with the obverse displaying a central Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika and flanked by arabesques, while the reverse shows simple arabesques throughout.
