Constructed of nickel silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak wreath joined together at the base by a ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in place, with a raised short barrel hinge, round wire vertical pinback, and a rightward opening flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 65. 1 mm (w) x
