This is a great example of a correct Wartime configuration Vietnam War North Vietnamese Army (NVA) Sun (or Pith) Helmet. These have gotten increasingly hard to find over the last few years, as the market is mostly flooded with post 1975 versions! This helmet appears to have been a homemade variety using a hard white plastic type sun helmet, which was then covered with a green oilcloth net and scrim. These were prized
