Giacosa, Giuseppe - Signed Photograph playbills opera Framed together with an engravingItalian poet (1847 1906), playwright & librettist, well known for writing the libretto of Puccini's Manon Lescaut, La Boheme, and Madama Butterfly. Large size cabinet style photograph signed by him, dated in Milan, 1905, inscribed to Bianca Chigi Kaschmann, daughter of the famed baritone Giuseppe Kaschmann. Size is 6. 75 x 9. 7 inches, minor stains, irregularly cut and trimmed on the top and bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.
