Included in this set are the following items: Indian Wars U. S. Issue M1874 Dyer cartridge pouch. This model pouch was used with the 45 70 rifle or carbine ammunition during the Indian Wars. It is marked: U. S. ARSENAL BENICIA Complete with its brass escutcheon support plate both back straps are solid. Black leather in supple condition. Interior still retains original lambs wool lining, which is very rare.
