Original German WWII Luftwaffe Gefreiter Pastel in Period Frame MP 40 although Oberst Baron von derOriginal Item: One of a kind. This is a beautifully done pastel of an unknown German Luftwaffe Gefreiter (private first class). The pastel itself measures 10. 5" x 14. 5" and when mounted in the frame it measures 16. 5" x 21"5. The colors are vibrant and the eyes feel alive, the quality is close to that of a colorized photograph, the arias was clearly very talented. The frame has seen better days. it has a glass glaze and the backing easily removed it
