This is a great example of a Type III Carbine stock for the M1 Carbine. The included handguard is an early 2 rivet variation which is well documented. 4 Rivet variants didnt begin production until the Winter of 1944, putting this example well before that and in line for World War II production. The stock is marked for Winchester on the backside of the oiler cut out. The stock is in fair shape with the normal nicks
