Constructed of silvered bronze, with red enameled arms; the obverse with a center medallion depicting a silvered Lbeck coat of arms; the reverse inscribed in the centre with Fr Verdienst im Kriege 1914 (For Merit in War 1914); on loop for suspension; measuring 40. 12 mm (w) x 40. 00 mm (h); weighing 18. 0 grams; in overall extremely fine condition.
