Description

Eighth Air Force did not strike at oil industry targets until 13 May 1944 when 749 bombers

so many Model 1816 family muskets still in service were updated to percussion rifles

The next few weeks brought a brief respite to the 5th Rangers

Roland and Mills were later engaged in a patent lawsuit

and it's possible that it was never issued with one

Original Spanish American War Horn-handled Machete in Tooled Leather Scabbard with Belt Frog Edged Weapons Eighth Air Force did notOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice example of a Machete from the Spanish American war of 1898, which lasted approximately 4 months. Many areas in Cuba and the Philippines were quite densely forested, so many carried machetes to help move through the jungle like foliage. This is a nice example, with a 25" long straight blade, which is about 1 1 4" wide. It is relatively thin and springy, definitely made for chopping through light
