Constructed of blackened bronze, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central monogram of Ernst August flanked by oak leaves, the six oclock arm with a date of 1914, the twelve oclock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41. 21 mm (w) x 41. 45 mm (h), weighing 18. 9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
