Austria, Empire. An Imperial Order of the Iron Crown in Gold, Miniature, c. 1900 Auction badge depicts “Kreisbauerntag 1936-1937”Instituted in 1815. Double headed eagle with a shield on the chest, consisting of blue enamels and the letter F, standing atop a crown in multi coloured enamels, the reverse of the eagle with a second shield dated 1815 on a blue enameled background, all topped by a royal crown on a loop, 31 mm (h) x 16. 6 mm (w), enamels intact, extremely fine condition. Footnote: The Imperial Order of the Iron Crown was founded in 1815 by Emperor Franz I of Austria
