This is a very nice May 1944 dated Luftwaffe 50L fuel oil drum, which measures approximately 23 inches (58cm) high with a 15 inch (38cm) diameter. The base has an embossed Luftwaffe Eagle with a date and various maker logos: 5 (logo) 44 (Luftwaffe Eagle) LE3 IIB (L in Triangle) The can still bears original German WW2 Luftwaffe gray blue paint with white stenciling on both ends, as well as on the sides. It appears to
