Palmer" engraved at top, hallmarked interior for Birmingham 1916, push button catch, convex, measuring 11 cm (w) x 8 cm (h), 124. 2 grams, worn and remains very fine. Footnote: John Richard Palmer, who had previous military experience with the 23rd Alberta Rangers, joined the CEF on May 17th 1916 after working in Lethbridge Alberta
