Germany, Heer. A Winter Service Cap Newly Listed Upon its introduction(Heer Pelzmtze fr Mannschaften). An extremely well preserved Heer winter service cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is surrounded by fold down side panels, providing optional ear and neck protection, which are fully lined with thick rabbit fur. When not in use, the panels roll up and are secured in position over the crown with a drawstring. The forehead is topped by an additional flap which is similarly lined with rabbit fur. A padded grey
